Built on a Simple Question: What Is Really in Our Food?
Kantis Paaf began at The Pratappur Agri-Aquatic Farm in Pratappur, Purba Bardhaman, a district long regarded as the Rice Bowl of Bengal.
Our proprietor, Subroto Ghosh, identified two persistent problems. Consumers had no reliable way to verify the purity of the food they bought, and local farmers were losing income to outdated, input-heavy methods.
The response was to farm with discipline: cultivate carefully, test every batch, and share proven practices with fellow farmers. Today, rice, date palm jaggery, honey, tea and fresh produce are marketed under a single, accountable brand, Kantis Paaf.

The Pratappur Agri-Aquatic Farm
Led by proprietor Subroto Ghosh, the farm operates from its office in Mankar, Purba Bardhaman, with a city office in Garia, Kolkata. It integrates field crops, aquaculture ponds and allied farming in one managed system.
The company has two divisions: Kantis Paaf Foods, which markets farm products to households and businesses, and Kantis Paaf Agri Services, which supports farmers in adopting modern, sustainable practices.
